Haywire is a 3 level 24,000 square foot farm to fork scratch kitchen featuring a whiskey lounge, dining room, wine room, and a rooftop lounge/patio that overlooks The Box Garden. Each floor has its own outdoor patio and bar. The rooftop has its own special feature which is the beautifully decorated vintage airsteam!
Besides having a great atmosphere, Haywire also has great food! Whether you try the locally sourced Texas Meat and Cheese Board or the Blackened Catfish & Gulf Shrimp, you will NOT be disappointed. My personal favorite is the 8oz Roasted Garlic Stuffed Filet. This steak is cooked to perfection and FULL of flavor! IF you are able to save some room for dessert, I highly recommend trying the Homestead Cake! This dessert is loaded with multiple layers of Carrots, Apples, pears, parsnips, zucchini, maple buttercream, Carmel and Texas Pecans topped with a candied sweet potato chip!
Great atmosphere, great food, what more do you need? Great drinks of course! From Texas Beers to handcrafted cocktails, Haywire is sure to have the perfect drink for you. I absolutely loved the refreshing taste of the Front Porch Swing. Western Son Grapefruit Vodka, Aperol, Pineapple, Lime, Simple Syrup, and Mint all combine to make the perfect fresh and fruity cocktail. On Thursday evenings you can enjoy your drinks on the first floor with live jazz or you can grab a cigar and $2 martini on the rooftop!
