A Weekend at Legacy West!

If you follow me on insta, you know that I am a regular at Legacy West. It is the perfect place to eat, stay, and play!

A couple of weeks ago, we decided to act like tourists at Legacy West and have a much needed staycation at the Renaissance Dallas at Plano Legacy West. With all of the craziness surrounding COVID, it was so nice to safely unplug and explore our own back yard! We kicked off our stay with getting some new glasses from Warby Parker. I hadn’t gotten new glasses in a couple of years, so new frames were definitely necessary. Check out some pics from our Warby shopping experience!

Picking out new glasses worked up our appetite, so we headed down to Prim and Proper inside of Neighborhood Goods. Due to COVID safety guidelines Prim and Proper is only offering food to go, so we decided to grab a couple cocktails and take a look around while we waited on our food. If you’re not familiar with Neighborhood Goods, it is a unique department store concept that has an ever-changing landscape of unique and interesting brands. I love that you never know what you may find browsing the store. From Adulting For The Win Ribbons to Tonal equipment, Neighborhood Goods truly had something for everyone!

After discovering some really cool finds, we decided to enjoy our food in our suite at the Renaissance. It was seriously the best lunch ever! We got the Hummus Plate and Charcuterie and Cheese Board to start which were both absolutely delicious! I got the Crispy Chicken Sandwich and Cameron got The Club. We highly recommend both sandwiches. I still think about that chicken sandwich often LOL! We also got a taste of one of their S’Mores cookies which was dangerously good. You seriously cannot go wrong with anything on Prim and Proper’s menu!

Due to the extreme heat that we experienced that weekend, we could not let the day go by without getting some gelato from Amorino! I was so excited to try my first Amorino Rose. They seriously make the gelato look so beautiful that I almost didn’t want to eat it. I can’t remember our exact flavors, but I went more creamy and Cameron chose more fruity flavors. Pics or it didn’t happen right? Check out our gelato roses below!

After a much needed nap and break from the Texas Heat, we decided to head out to dinner. It was so hard to choose where to go with so many restaurant options within walking distance of the hotel. However, we finally landed on Earl’s and it did not disappoint. There was great music, good conversation, and amazing food. We were too busy enjoying the moment that we didn’t fully capture our dining experience, but I did snap a picture of my food and of got a quick picture of my outfit. Who can pass up the opportunity to take a picture in the Legacy Studio at the Renaissance?

We were so full and worn out from the best day ever at Legacy West that we quickly passed out in the spacious and comfy bed at the Renaissance. If I could fit their beds into my bags I so would ha! Oh, I also need to mention their spacious showers with mood lighting. How can you not take a pink lit shower? I am still trying to figure out how to get them to install that for me in my apartment shower lol! Anyways, after sleeping in and getting some much needed rest, we decided to order room service for breakfast. I can’t even begin to find the words to tell you all how good this spread was. If only I could have them deliver breakfast to me like this every day, ugh!

We seriously had the best mini-staycation at Legacy West and cannot wait to do it all over again soon. We barely scratched the surface on all that they have to offer there, but I highly suggest going and checking it out for yourself. Whether you’re going to grab drinks at Kai or finding some new threads at Albion, you will not leave Legacy West disappointed! Be sure to follow me on Instagram to see more from this stay and all of my other frequent adventures at Legacy West.

Until next time my loves!

XOXO,

Chrissy
