I know some of you are probably wondering how I even came up with this blog. Well… I was enjoying happy hour at Del Frisco’s Grille (which is an absolute must) with my blogger friend Brian K. and talking about revamping my life now that I am no longer dancing. As we talked about this, I looked up the definition of revamp:
re·vamp: noun
ˈrēˌvamp/
1.an act of improving the form, structure, or appearance of something
As I stared at the definition while sipping a delicious white sangria (which is another absolute must), an idea came to me. I am always out to eat, shopping, or finding a new place to hangout, so why not blog about it? BOOM! The Daily S.L.A.Y was born. So thank you Del Frisco’s Grille for your yummy cheesesteak egg rolls, parmesan spinach dip, and of course the most perfect white sangria (that comes with a fruit popsicle) for helping me come up with the BEST IDEA EVER!
